Section 01Required Consent During Signup
The following acknowledgments are presented during account creation and must be actively confirmed before an account can be created or a child participates in a WonderClaus experience:
- ✦I confirm that I am at least 18 years old and am the parent/legal guardian of the participating child, or I have authorization from the child's parent/legal guardian.
- ✦I consent to WonderClaus processing the limited information I provide about the child for the purpose of personalizing and delivering the selected WonderClaus experience.
- ✦I understand that WonderClaus characters use artificial intelligence, voice processing, animation, and other automated technologies to create interactive conversations.
- ✦I have reviewed and agree to the WonderClaus Terms of Use and acknowledge the WonderClaus Privacy & Children's Privacy Policy.
Section 02Separate Optional Consent
The following optional consent choices are presented separately and are never pre-checked:
- ✦I separately consent to the recording of my child's WonderClaus session for the purpose of creating a private keepsake video. (Displayed only if recording is offered.)
- ✦Send me WonderClaus promotions, Christmas announcements, and special offers by email. (Optional marketing consent.)
Section 03Parent Information Reminder
Please provide only the information needed to personalize your child's experience. Do not submit sensitive personal information such as a child's address, school, telephone number, passwords, financial information, or government identification numbers.
Section 04Implementation Standards
WonderClaus follows these implementation standards to protect families:
- ✦Child-created accounts are not permitted. Account creation is parent/guardian-only.
- ✦Consent boxes are never pre-checked.
- ✦Optional recording consent is kept separate from core service consent.
- ✦Marketing-email consent is separate and optional.
- ✦The date/time, policy version, account ID, and consent choices are recorded with each parental consent event.
- ✦Parent-accessible methods are provided for privacy inquiries, withdrawal of consent, and deletion requests.
- ✦Advertising pixels, session replay, or behavioral tracking are not activated on child-facing interaction pages without legal/privacy review.
Section 05Legal Review
Before publication, licensed counsel should review this package against the final WonderClaus product design, COPPA requirements, state privacy laws, international availability, vendor contracts, AI/voice retention practices, payment/refund terms, and any session-recording feature.
